Now we just need to do a low speed roll with me having drag radials.. I seem to do much better down low.. at 50+ when we initially hit you pop about a half car up on me then we even out pretty good from there.. I'm curious to see if 3.73s would help me on the 50 rolls or not.

I bet the 3.73 will help on the intial hit on a 50 mph roll for sure since you'll be more into your powerband. Funny thing is i had to shift like two seconds later since i was around 5500 rpm lol

For sure. I just prefer 131 now as I've never seen bad prep there. But whatever is convenient for everyone. Milan is 1 hr and 131 is 1.5 so no big deal to me either way

Also Onondaga dragway is back open north of Jackson. Been closed for 35 years supposedly. Not sure how the prep will be but that's another option

Actually a member on here made a post yesterday on Onondaga. I believe it's 1/8 mile only and the prep is not good. Pics I saw of it looked like it was in the middle of a corn field or something lol

The prep is pretty decent at Onondaga. I say that because 1. I'm only running 26/8.5 (235s) that are almost done 2. My burnouts aren't consistent. Seemed to do better when I rolled out rather than sit there. 3. My best 60' is 1.52 and I had a 1.54, 1.56 and multiple 1.57s. If I was running a bigger, newer tire, I think it would have been more consistent. They had some big guys there the week prior and I heard of sub-1.00 60' times. Yes, there is corn on 3 sides of the property lol.

It would be great if it was a 1/4 mile track. I wonder if they have plans for that down the road

I agree! It looks like they MIGHT have enough track to do it.

HCI your killing me in this thread! You have complained how heavy your car is and one post its tools = this and another post cleaning supplies = this.
.get all that **** out and race bro!!
MY .02, if Rollin throws a set of gears in there, sticky tires on a dig, he will own you-no offense
Both you guys need to settle it at the track and have a tire on the back ..done and settled!
Lastly we all been on here a while, like both you guys..have at it

Haha no I'm not complainling at all man. I'm actually pretty happy with what my car does for being such a pig lol. The nitrous and other supplies are 40-50 lbs at best. Rollin is actually putting on 3.73's this winter, so it will be interesting when we run next spring. Being that I'm a M6 and on the stock 10 bolt I have no desire to launch it hard at the track. When I get a better rear ill be happy to launch the **** out of it lol

Me too man lol. Rollin and myself are good friends and only live a few miles apart, so I'm sure we'll have more races to come

Lol this is funny stuff. Yea next year I should be set up a little better. Actually doing 3.73, ditching the volant, and moving to a lid/SSRA set up. Should help me quite a bit I'm thinking. Maybe .2 and 2 mph if I'm lucky.

Found out my 10 bolts posi is pretty worn out as well (stock with 130k), it was pointed out to me that 1 tire wasn't spinning much during my prewarm lol. So there's a chance that could be hurting my 60 ft a little, but who knows.

This really isn't a thread for us desperately competing to beat each other, it's just fun and a pretty close comparison we thought we would share. I think regardless of which way the race went, either of us would care. I honestly think from a low speed roll I have the advantage every time and from a higher speed roll I'll lose almost every time. That's always been my experience racing 6 speeds in an auto. Our rwhp are probably pretty damn close.

Getting close to lifting.. rear didnt squat at all.. may have the vikings a touch too tight out back
60 ft was better with bolt on, but not by a lot. My tires are also on wear bars, so may be losing a little there as well.

Roughly 2000 ft DA

I believe DA correction puts me around 11.2 @ 120
