HCI2000SS vs RollinSScamaro
#64
From what ive gathered out of this thread.... he runs roughly 120 straight motor. Hmmm, maybe 128-130ish on the gas? Yea, you would probably get Gaptized. But hey, UPS comes to your house too right?....

I figured why make a whole new thread, so im bumping this back up. RollinSScamaro and I did one last run again today to close the season. Since our last run he added a 3.73 gear (from the stock 3.23) and a SSRA. I think that's it. Mine is the same as the last time we ran. Basically it was dead even again from like 40-125. We only got one run due to traffic, but it was a legit run. I'm sure he will chime in here soon with more details

I felt like my car did a touch better this time around which may have to do with the gears. My car weighed 3560 with my 18" wheels, gas topped off, front swaybar removed, and no spare. i was able to get a clean hit off the start versus being jumped by half a car on the hit. I think the only gain I had was during one of his shifts, but evened right back out after. Fun run for sure and glad we ran again. I think the gears made a difference for sure on the initial hit. I'd still love to do a low speed roll since my car rips hard down low, but the 45-120 gave us a good indicator of each cars power level. New best at the track for me this year is 11.16 @ 120.9 w/ 1.56 60 ft. Not bad for stock bottom end at the weight my car is at. Nitrous is the next game plan so we should have some more fun runs next year if I dont break anything haha.

Its around 3715 with me in it and im roughly 40 lbs lighter with my drag set up on when running at the track. I keep thinking about doing bracket racing, but need to do some reading on it to understand what all it entails. The crazy part is i have a few more slips from that day that are just as consistent.
