the clip that holds the line in the side of the transmission from the master cylinder fell off and the line came out resulting in a dead pedal. Trans was just put in a lil over a year ago. Is there a way to buy just that clip and can it be put back in without dropping the tranny???

I would take it to the shop that installed your clutch. That gap should not be getting larger as it goes down. The transmission should be flush with the bell housing. Also in one of your pictures I can see that three bolts that hold the transmission to the bell housing are missing. It seems like they may have been the one's who cracked your bell housing also. Looks like a bad installation all around. Where did you go?

That bellhousing is fucked, and the lower portion is pulled away partly because of the BH being fucked...but because all the bolts are missing lol.
So yes that is a large crack.
It also looks like both the metal retaining clip inside the slave quick release is missing, as well as the plastic collar on the car side that is used to release it.
No idea if you can buy the metal bit separately, but there's bound to be loads of guys with old ones knocking about from old slaves.
Monster and no doubt GM will sell the plastic collar for the hose side.

You need the plastic sleeve pictured above/monster in order to disconnect the quick release setup.
You need this metal part inside the QD fitting...in order for it to actually lock together.
