Default lsx 454 high compression and boost?

hey so im new to the forum been a long time reader but never posted, i have a c6 z06 i just built a lsx 454,
callies compstar crank
compstar rods
wiesco pistons
i originally built it high compression 12.6:1 for n/a and nitrous.
i got the car tuned and made 640whp n/a
and 830whp on a direct port 200 shot.
im already thinking of throwing a ysi on it.
i run e85
walbro 450 in tank, im aware i would need to upgrade my fuel system but i was wondering if anyone had any experience boosting with high compression and a big bore 4.185
heres a few pics of the setup

Conventional Wisdom, for what it is worth.... Best to stay at or below 4.155" Bore
for High Power Adders for both Cylinder Wall Thickness & Gasket Retention.
No personal experience with boost, had a LSX NA Engine Built.
Good Luck

I'd throw a set of pistons in it. You'll be MUCH happier in the end. Yeah it's money and time, but who said this hobby is cheap or easy?

You can't expect 12.6:1 and boost to agree for long.

I say, switch it up and see what it's looking like. Those Procharger F1A – 94's are making some good results.

Are the TVS 2650 internals finally out? Would they fit on that car even with a cowl hood?

Default Density Ratio/RL

Hi Z06, The Indy Car has a 13:1 CR with 8 .lbs BOOST AND they use E-98.

I have a test engine assembled for bench dyno testing of "E" fuels.
This Subaru E-20 engine had a CR of 14:1 AND we boosted to 14 .lbs AGAIN on E-98 with a 400+ HP report.

STATE the planned MAP for your PSI installation AND if Charge AIR is cooled ?

WHAT is YOUR R/L, The Stroke vs Rod Length ?
DID you fit "offset" pin pistons ?

Your gonna have to go back in an open up your ring gaps.
12.6:1 with boost? While your in there, change your pistons out.
You’ll have no problem selling the current ones to get some coin back, if coin even matters...

thanks for the replys! yea my rings were gapped for nitrous/ boost, i run e85 full time, i could swap heads out with 70cc chambers which would put me a little over 11 comoression, that may be the route i to keep the reliability, i dont feel like spending all the time and money on pulling the motor again and swapping pistons out, and to the guys boosting high compression how long have your motors lived for?
