My High Elavation 416 Build
I started a post earlier and never went anywhere .
So here I go again . We are about ready to assemble the short block and then move on to the top half .
Build so far .
Short Block .
New LS3 block
Texas Speed 4340 Crank
Texas Speed H Beam Rods w/arp 2000 bolts
Wiseco 4.070 piston -3cc
ARP main studs
ARP head studs
Sac City billet barbell
Holley # 302-3 oil pan
Melling #10296 High Volume High Pressure
Roll Master Billet gears and IWIS Pro chain
Long Block
Cam 236 248 @50 620 603 113+3
Morel # 6504 Lifters
TEA TFS 255 heads
Crowler Shaft mount roller rockers .
Smith Bros Push rods
Fast 102
VMAX Velocity ring
VMAX Ported LS3 T.B.
GM 42# injectors
Compression ratio 12.26
Hopefully it makes power !!

What are you doing with it and what are the numbers of that Cam Martin spec-ed for you? Those 42lb injectors might be a concern if you were looking for 550 or more rwhp. "416 build" catches my eye every time.

Did your ls3 block, require any clearancing to install the 4 inch crank?

You'll probably have to space your windage tray a bit too. Not sure why notching the bottom edge of the bores is necessary for some but not others, it must be the rods in use. I did not have to with a 4.00 stroke and I beam rods on a 5.7 block.

Looks nice! I like the black valve covers and manifold, plus the clean fuel rails.
