Dash on 1998 Firebird is Cracked
I took it to a body shop and they said replacements are no longer available. They said the dash would have to be removed in order to repair it. But removing it would cause it to crack beyond repair.
Is there anywhere I can buy a replacement?
What are my options?

What part of the dash is cracked? As mentioned above, the upper pad/panel (that runs to the windshield) is available.
Or do you need the lower (main) dash?

I believe Classic industries has OEM dash pads, but they aren't cheap.

No need for NOS-hunting. You can still get these from GM, but they are very expensive. I have the part number for the '97-'99 Dark Gray version: 10422746. GMPD shows that it's still available as of today. I imagine the 2000-'02 Ebony version would be available as well, but I don't have that number on hand.

They aren't, but they are good quality. I just replaced mine. As far as the actual dash itself I haven't found anyone that sells that. There is always the option to see if a leather repair guy could fix it. I know the guy I used locally repairs that stuff. It would be worth some inquiring about it. I am wondering how long until they make all the replacement parts for them. I know that LMR for the Foxbody really came on in the mid 00s and those cars were 12-20 years old. Our cars are now 23-27 years old and no one makes much for them. Its surprising especially since GM stuff is usually the first to start getting made. They have most of the stuff to restore a 3rd gen. I wish the 4th gen would catch up.
