9’s N/A

Got a few 1/4 mile hits in last night, DA around 2500’. Converter for the powerglide is on the loose side still, 14-15% slip on the big end. 7650 rpm across the line. I’m happy with it, still got my goal of getting in to the 5’s in the 1/8 this year. It was tripping the 60’ beam with the rear tires, actual 60’ was probably closer to 1.24-1.25.

Our 96 camaro used to wheelie every pass too. If you can get a set of Menscer Shocks. It never leaves the ground now. You can get close to a tenth of that sixty. Whatever you do don't put travel limiters on there. With the Menscers, there is no need.

Your very welcome. We were a amazed on how good they work. After almost scraping the bumper and minimal carnage, we knew we had to do something. A huge factor with the Menscers is the after the sale customer service. If you do get a set they are very happy to help you get your car dialed in. They want you to be bragging about them. If at all possible, see if you can't sell the Vikings and get all 4 Menscers. You won't regret it. We had QA1's all around and we had the fronts cranked all the way up and they still wouldn't keep the front down. Now with the Menscers they are on the second setting from full loose for an example, and they don't ever leave the ground. I'm sure you may end up upping your power at some point, most do. If you do, you will be covered. You are definitely doing an great job with your car.

This is very interesting to me. No more power than my car makes and no faster than it is and I can't keep my front down and have been thinking about limiters to try to get a little more out of the 60. It's only pulling the wheels maybe 8-10 inches but that's still waisting energy. I have vikings set full tight on the front and viking on the rear set on 6-7. I would love to get it to leave without pulling the wheels at all.

Onebadbowtie is getting it done and you are too! Thanks for the advice! Wish I had bought a better shock set up to begin with now. I just thought at my level what I have would be good enough. I'm just never satisfied and try to squeeze a little more out of my car with out changing the engine at all. I still think I got some left in the 60. Congratulations to both of you and thanks again!
