I know, gearing, weight, suspension, traction, and 28 other things play a great roll in what your 1/4 mile times will be... I was just curious as to what numbers you all are putting to the rears to achieve 9.99s or lower. thanks

With a little weight loss I think my car could grace the 9's. It was able to run a 6.6@108.72 1/8 full weight letting out for each shift. I don't have dyno numbers with the aftercooler but w/o it it made 629rwhp 696 tq so should be about 675rwhp 750tq

I don't have rear wheel hp/tq, but the motor is making 640 hp and 600tq, in that vacinity. Race weight is about 3200 w/ me in it. That's naturally aspriated too

Excellent time for those numbers!

With the stock bottom end, i want to be 550RWHP on the squeeze, nothing less. With a forged bottom end, i want to be 650-700 on the squeeze
only real difference is, il be doing it in a 2800lb car with driver
The power to weght ratio is there, just gotta get the suspension worked out, get it to hook, and i should be golden

wtf........

this isn't a dick measuring thread!!! the man asked a question to gauge where he might be at, and a bunch of you chime in bragging and showin off!!! if you can't answer the Q, post your times where they should be, in the time slip forum. this is a great question that i would love to have the answer to for the simple reason that i'm only interested in running a 9 sec. time, and i am currently buying a car to setup that way. therefor the answer that is given by those who know, can be REALLY helpful so i know what i need to do.

btw, not trying to sound as harsh as this post seems to be, just making a point. as guys, give us the answer, and get to the point. it's what our minds are programmed for. to those who did, THANK YOU.

later all,
Dave
