Sure is hell is light enough!! I'm handing this off to the guys that have run 9's. I would think with the T-56, the guy shifting the gears will make or break the run for the 9's.

If you give us some power numbers, we'll be able to tell for sure.

Lots of the Z06 owners on corvette forum say it's difficult to launch, finicky, and doesn't hold very much. Most switch to a Textralia. 9's is not easy with a manual! Isn't the record like 9.3 or something like that? Oh and you won't do it on drag radials...

I say you definitely cannot with your set-up...but then again I've never been in the 9's so take it for what it's worth...

The record for a Fbody yes. But theres a Red 6 speed Viper built by UGR that ran in the high 7's.

How fast have you gone in the car before? What axle is in it? What kind of cage is in it? 2750 with an iron LS block must be a f-ing tin can. You've had it on a scale and that's the reading you got? It's easy to assemble parts that should run nines, but actually going to the track and doing it is another story.

You would have to be on the money with the shifting. And I'm not sure about the ls7 clutch. You may have to eaz into it, then mash it on the spray.
That is a very light weight car, it should go 9's.

I'd like to take away my statement on drag radials, I was unaware that there are people running 7.4's in the quarter on 325/50/15 mt drag radials! That is crazy!
