That sounds good, I am waiting on money LOL.
For some reason every time I open my wallet it is empty
I am going to get a S60 or 9" but I haven't found anyone with S60's with free shipping, the 9" EPP has free shipping on and that's 200 bucks to ship most rear ends.
If I can find a S60 with free shipping I might get it, if not I will get a 9", but I have a new torque arm and I could either keep it and run an old style 9" or sale it and use the money towards that fab 9" kit with centered torque arm from midwest.
Depends on who I can get the best stuff from at the best price. If it is only 100 bucks extra I'll go 40 spline with 5/8 studs.
Shitting thing is I have to order it without any brackets on it since I moved all of the mounting points in, so I will have to do more fab work, everyone knows I love fab work
I decided to go with the 30x13.5 ET STREET

Yup i think i am going to start looking for sponsors....I have heard a few people having trouble with midwest, are they straight up, or do you know? I have never delt with them, and they have some nice looking stuff. if you need to fab, why not get a fab 9 and go that way? or that new m9 or whatever it is? maybe they can custom mod it for you, or maybe an unfinished version?
cars...what a pain LOL

I will probably buy a regular 9" and move the torque arm in it has two sets of mounting holes, if it hits the trans tunnel I'll set it on fire, push it off a cliff and report it stolen
I just bought a new torque arm for this pile and I aint spending extra money, I could be spending it on my chic and getting extra sexual favors
I have 15x8 with 3" back space.
I am going to run a 29x11.5 Hoosier QTP DOT for now.
It's a 29 with a 10" tread 12" section.
I am going to narrow the rear end 4.5" per side.
This will tuck the tire 2.5" from the fender and leave me 2" clearance on the inside.
A lot of guys go 15x10 with 5" backspace and 3" narrow per side, set up I am running tucks the tire like a 15x10 with 5" back space with 3.5" narrowed per side would.
Later when I get my 15x12's I just run a 15x12 with 5" backspace and the tire will be centered perfect running a 30x14" section tire, it will have 1.5" of clearance on the outside and 1" from the LCA, which should be perfect
So basically I will have about and extra 1.0" clearance now inside and out so the f- it, I save 780.00 on rims for now and don't have to narrow the rear end or touch it one hair to run a 15x12 and the larger tire.
Besides it's still my street car not like I need a tire that big when I am making a whole 400 hp at the crank LOL.
As far as midwest I wouldn't know, I haven't spent a dime there and don't personally know anyone who has.
EPP seems to have the best price for what I am looking for especially with free shipping, if I can get what I am looking for at a good price I'll make the call and buy it.

hell if you have those wheels and tires, run em. I agree with the regular 9 inch, probably the simplest way to go really, I wonder if you can get a blank housing from somebody, then add brackets on it in the right place, and the lower arm at the correct angle, then just weld ends on it....possibly ed quay may have some things for a 3rd gen that might work.
If none of that works...plan A lol

All you have to do is use the torque arm mounting brackets on the rear end and fabricate a new torque arm mount that moves the torque arm in more.
Or you can use the mounting bracket on the rear and make a torque arm bracket that spreads the bars apart some and also move it in and make one of those new style wide spread torque arms.
Or remove the mounting brackets on the rear end, then weld tabs to the top and bottom of the housing more towards the center then make a new wide spread torque arm .
I got a hammer it's gonna fit

its through bolted, I dont remember the size, but its pretty big, there is also a leg on the other side to triangulate it, that is an old strange rear, like the first design the tubes on the axle are from strange, the way they made it, but it was ment for a 9 in with the pinion bolts, this has the 12 bolt setup in it, so no pinion bolts, hence the bracket was bending, so this gold bracket was made, and the third leg added on the right to stop the twisting to the right, that bracket should lift a battleship lol, I would guess that its a 3/4 bolt though, but since you have that car lightend up you wont need all that strength lol

damn....just read an email from strange....they dont rec. aluminum center sections for cars over 2500 lbs.....guess i need to lighten the car 700 lbs...that could be hard, lets see, engine trans, well driver (since he wont be needed with no engine) and rear axle... that should get me close right? The knucklehead didnt even tell me if they were car or truck gears in that center lol guess i will go to summit and pick up a car gear set to find out lol( it helps that i pass the place all the time)

well I was waiting on parts, but I have the ones i was waiting on now, so I can start playing. I also need to bitch at thunder / madman...my control arms are not powder coated and they are supposed to be?????? I am thinking of doing some super street class racing at the local track, since it pays lol, I have an idea to slow it down to the 10.90 index
