that would be interesting, but nah...never know what way it will be going if i pulled the ejection handle.
On a different note I am also helping on a mustang build....dont know much about the goals for him, but I think its going to be a 25.2 cage, stock style rear suspension (dont know why) possibly turbo, or maybe nitrous, depends on budget (what a dumbass there is no such thing as a budget race car)

well, I actually told him just to put the 35.2 cage in, due to the fact that the car will go faster than 8.50, and cro-mo weighs less right..but seriously, if it goes faster than 8.50 modding the cage you just put in isnt cost effective to convert to a 25.2 or 5 cage...infact a few places sell pre fab cages that will cert to 25.2 for fox body stangs....dont know if thats the way id go but hell its easy lol and since it has a hole in front under the hood I guess the door is open for anything, but a n/a setup that will do 9's is pretty high dollar, nitrous is money spread out over time so turbos start to seem logical, besides, he found a whole front suspension setup with brakes (wilwoods) for less then the cost of the brake kit (the guy has alot of time to find bargins, owns his own business)
also found a mark williams rear (8.8) with drag brakes for less than a pair of axles, and its setup with 9" ends already so it has the retaines to eliminate the c clips...lucky son of a gun lol

hes a ford queer, they dont make sound decisions...like putting an 8.8 in for example, I would have put a 9 inch in and forgot about it, I dont think the 8.8 would handle a big nitrous engine well

Fire protection is good, hopefully you never need it either but since you're FWD now you'll be ok

I got my new fuel pressure gauge in....and found out my old gauges are off, the carb one is about .5 psi high, the nitrous gauge is over 1 psi off! good thing i had the carb too rich. going to the track sunday so I will be able to see if it helps to have correct fuel pressure lol

The nitrous gauge is 1psi off? LMAO so you were leaving the line at 901 psi instead of 900?

Wow 4psi is pretty low but you do know that jetting from most companies are setup with a slightly rich ratio??? What gauges are you running? I had all the autometer ultralites in mine.

Picture isn't too big but you can see a I had a bunch of gauges, under the cowl you can see the 2 nitrous psi and two fuel psi gauges.

I also set the fuel psi with the solenoid flowing.

the gauges are cheap summit mini gauges, on the regulators. I made a hose to flow the jet and put the fuel back into the fuel jug, the gauge on it died awhile ago, but also a cheap mini gauge from somebody. I did go to the track, ran a 10.55 on engine....but wouldnt run on nitrous worth a damn, I belive the ignition box is dying it would misfire alot and pop out of the exhaust on the bottle. I did get a 1.255 60 ft, actually triggered with the front wheels lol, might have vids soon, but they will suck.

Hunter was hauling...I was shooting for the slowest tbrake launch record. Summit being on the way home could be dangerous to ones checking account
When are you going again to SDR?
