old boring small block, 9.41

stock style suspension, basically cut the bump stops off, and some beating of offending parts, , the rear suspension does not move alot so I dont have to worry about rubbing , but they are tucked in pretty well

I went with a 7 too, and the hvc2 coil, I mounted them away from the heat of the engine also, recently found that my nitrous flowing rig was amazingly inaccurate.....fixed that though, took the air bags out of the rear, i havent put any air in them in 3 or 4 trips to the track, polished the front wheels while i had them off to bleed the brakes (aerospace brakes sorta suck about that, have to pull them off and hold them flat to get the air out of the outside pistons) I will polish the rears before sunday....pinks is comming up soon so I wanted it to look good. I havent decided to run consistant or just go ***** out and lay down some bad *** wheelies....I need to back up my bumper sticker
it says...wheelie bars are for pussies

yeah , and it ran like ****, but i was top qualifier in the quick 8.......but in the 2nd round the trans brake didnt hold on the line and it rolled out of the beams...pissed me way the hell off

after it rolled, i jammed on the brakes, saw the red light, hit the button again and it held so i ran it out, did a few more passes, and it worked great.
this pic is first round where i got a bye run, i only ran it to the 1/8, it went 5.99 which is more than .2 off what it has run, i didnt have enogh time between passes to sort it out, changed too many things at one time, ignition, ran a colder plug that is not a projected tip, diffreent gauge on the nitrous flow rig....and not enough time
thats how i want it to leave when i am racing, that was a 1.26 60 ft too, and it felt soft so i knew it wasnt on a good run, i got the pole with a 9.46, the chevelle that was there ran a 9.58 right in front of me, the announcer was gragging about that 3600 lb monster....then he said, guess he didnt like that chevelle, a 9.46 for the camaro lol,

about 40 passes ago i built it, and it went 1.255 a few weeks ago, and that was with crappy spark, i am going to check the valve springs soon, probably next week. I am going to try to take it to a dyno so i can get a good baseline on air fuel ratio, might pick up an egt kit, that vp16 kills o2's pretty quick, i had it tuned decent last year, but i had tuned it with a crappy fuel pump that lamed out by the big end.....so now its too rich, and i havent went big enough on changes, but i do know i figured out the gauge setup for the nitrous jet flowing, i didnt know if i could belive what i was seeing, now its more complicated to hook up , but works right, so that nice digital gauge i have can be used to dial it in like i want, now that i can trust it, but i am going back to the plug i usually run...this is the second time i tried these, and they sucked both times.
last year in similar weather conditions it would go 10.67 give or take a few thousandths all day, this time it ran like 10.85...small but a car isnt supposed to slow down over the winter lol
