nice set up.i have a 94 z28 with a sbc 383...it runs 7.60's in the 1/8th with 3.42 gears.i'll get some pics when i get my camera working.
all the mods in my sig havent been done.i rebuilt my turbo 350 trans and i am stil using the stock rear.i havent gotaround to swapping out the third gen rear to this car yet,i also used the lt1 headers and motor mounts and lt1 radiator........i used the stock hoses from my tpi set up i had on my third gen

Yea, i can only get about 8.7-8.8 in the 1/8th, the cam is WAY too big for these vortec heads and the intake if the gay *** performer with the shortys, killing the HP badly. But, i threw it together to ditch the opti and have a DD again besides my truck.
Going to sell this car though, i want another third gen for a DD.

i got an s10 xtreme for my daily driver.someday it will get a v8 powerplant to displace the 4 banger.lol....i have 4 3rd gen huls i am getting rid of with only one having a clear title.i used to play with it for 10 years

I know this topic is old as hell but just thought I'd show a few completed carbed/sbc conversion pics. BTW motor was 357ci, eagle rotating assembly, AFR heads, .640 lift solid roller with Barry Grant 1000cfm Race demon carb with th350 tranny with a BTE 4800 converter

should have done motor plates... you would have been able to keep your wipers. my 95z has a 454 between the frame rails and the rear float bowl sits under the wiper cowl with a hole drilled in the plastic cowl trim to adjust float level. i will post pix soon.
