What is everyone doing about the brake booster for the power brakes? My new motor has a lot of cam in it and was looking into a electric vacuum pump to help with the brakes. Could I run a vacuum canister from the motor and then plum it back to the stock booster or would that still not be enough?

The lights are ran off of the BCM and the motor is ran through the PCM so you basically take the harness that is hooked to the motor and the computer under the hood out and all your lights (headlights, turn signals ect) all work fine. The only wires that you will have to trace from the stock harness are the reverse light and the wiring for the stock key switch if you choose to have it start off the key

Heres pic of my engine bay so you can get an idea of where things will end up. I think you are going to have to loose the wiper unless you use a carb hat thats small enough. Good luck and thanks for the pics. I can take some more pics of mine if you have any questions.

sorry for late response. Its a 1970 350. Install was pretty straight forward. Just bolt in the rear two bolts on the block to the stock motor mounts. everything else bolted right on

Radiator Question
Firstly, my car is track only. No a/c, no PS, no belts, no windshield wipers, etc. So please don't hammer me with the, "why didn't you use a LS motor stuff." It's a 98 Camaro that's been converted from v6 to Gen 1 SBC carb'd. We've done it right with BMR stuff. The radiator is posing a bit of a problem though. Does anyone have insight into using a LS1 radiator with my setup or where to find a radiator that isn't too tall? We can fab one in, but hey, if we can bolt one in it, that's always better.
