Default Is my 350 Block any good??

I bought a 350 motor and after i disassembled it I was inspecting the block and I come across these defects and I was wondering before I invest anymore money into this motor I need to know if this block is scrap or if I take it to a machinist will it be fixable?

I dont see any problems at all. I'd smooth those edges out with a file and call her good man. They dont look like they're going to mess with gasket sealing of any sort.

IDK, the first pic of the block looks like it has a crack in it.

They all have that, it's from the molds. But if you're worried, most shops can pressure-test the water jackets as well as magnaflux.

The second pic seems to show clearancing for a stroker crank, it may have done time as a 383.

You make a good point, but considering where it is, it could just be from junk running out the bottom of the cylinder. The magnaflux should be standard, and should indicate if it's coincidence, or if it warrants a pressure test.
Notice I didn't guarantee it either way, just going on gut feel from seeing hundreds of 350s in the past.
