Default Getting closer

update on the ride.....
got the brake lines finished up and the motor in ....time to have some headers made in the next week or so and finish the wiring....here is a few pics enjoy

man that's nice. Who's mid plate is that? What block did you use? How many cubes?
I just bought a 632 (Merlin III block), gonna stuff it in my TA.
I'm going with a front belt and distr. drive set up.

its a madman front/mid plate mid plate has been trimmed up to fit, its a dart little M block and its only 393ci

update....got the headers done...got some mufflers on order , then off for coating ,now time to wire it up!

there is weight breaks in many classes out here, and sb2's dont really need big ci's to make big power

well getting a few things done...got the alt and vaccum pump mouthed along with the overflow tanks and fan....gonna weld some -16 AN fittitings on the radiator and get all the lines made....looks like after this weekend will just need to be wired...heres a few pics

get to start on the wiring this next week, just got the headers back from getting coated.....they look shinny!

Looks great. So do those beadlocks. What kind of driveline setup are you using and how much converter?

With your car being black and putting in a sb2 smallblock it reminds me of one of the old Pinks shows that had the same setup. That guy gave a big block car something like 8 cars and still hunted him down!

Good luck with the build. That is going to be one nasty ride when you are done!

im running a glide....the converter is a neal chance 8" 6500 stall

Bolt together style converter? 9" out back I assume? Should cut in the mid 1.2x 60ft range I would imagine.

That millers race engines sb2 camaro was fast as hell.

no bolt together...its ther regular converter....and the car has a strang 12-bolt in it (12-bolt was in the car when i got it)

just got the last of the lines done, went ahead and put AN fittings on the radiator and got a new water neck with a AN fitting ...painless wiring harness on order hope to get started on it this weekend...
