Default any info on the procomp heads?

Does anyone have experience with these heads? From the info given, they don't sound half bad.

I have been watching them on ebay to. Their is a local shop by me that sells them for alot more then ebay. It was nice to see the heads first hand before buying them. The set they had were for a big block . They wanted 1300 of them bare, were as you can get the same heads on ebay for 799. They shound be getting the ones in for the sbc ,I'll post their price after they come in.
I'm looking to get the 210cc head by procomp. Not sure with the 190cc but the 210cc you need to run a +.100 longer valves and you should mach up the motor for longer pushrods.

If looking at buying the small block heads, buy the 190's. They flow almost exactly what the 210's do. Neither of which is overly impressive without a little work. They do flow decent numbers at .500 and .600, but the valve is shrouded pretty bad, and the low lift numbers suffer pretty bad. Here are some of the numbers it got on the 190's. They do vary from port to port on some because of the amount of core shift, but not a huge amount.

.200 = 115in 114ex
.300 = 165 145
.400 = 209 164
.500 = 244 166
.600 = 255 168

These are with the out of the box valve job which leaves some to be desired. With a better valve job, some chamber unshrouding, and a backcut valve the low, and mid lifts come up 10-20cfm depending on the lift point.

Hope this helps.

Just curious, has anyone here bought a set of these and run the yet? May not be the best head out there but should still make decent power. We've only dyno'd one engine with them on so far, but it was a blown 350 so not a good way to check them out.

dont walk away run and dont look back. That was the worst peice of engineering I have seen. They were so porus they'd float in water.
If you see the people in charge of that company you'd laugh!

Ill make a long story short. Ive seen their socalled sales rep, he was a total looser! Unfreindly ignorant sob. If I was the PC owner I would have let him go on the spot!!!! Their booth was two tables combined with two cylinerhead a distributor, some rockers and rocker covers. Two table equalling about 20 feet or so. With only those items no paper work. nothing> this was at a show!!! Yea I buying from that company. When pigs fly. The cylinder heads were the worst chuck of alu. I had seen in quite some time. it looked real pourse. Thin thin casting. low quality. their rockers were nice from far, far from nice. the locking nut were blackish in color but not of the forged type. They were as light as a quarter and were definatly cast. Probably pull the threads with 100lbs of seat pressure. I wouldnt trust their dizzy as far as I can spit either. I would sugest the heads as a boat anchor but even then they will eithier float or rot in the water. If you have the money to burn I would really suggest donating it to me for my bbc build
