Hope this is good inspiration to others thinking about swpaing.. when i started info was very vauge, all i got were ear fulls of "it wont fit" and "your crazy"
Can anyone do one of those desktop dynos on my specs?? Im curious as to what the beast makes. i didnt have the resources to get the motor dynoed.
the comp is around 12.7 :1 with the 119cc head.. but not sure what the headgasket thickness played... its on straight 110 octane now.. if anyone could figure up something or have knowledge of ball park figure itd be appreciated

LS is in high demand old skool is more affordable. alot of our braging rights comes from how much invested and what you put down.

jet changes and mixture adjustments must be fun to do on the sec. bowl. you would be nuts to go with a shorter gear. you've got torque now, use it. how do you like the A1000. i am going with that and a similiar fuel line config. with a return line on the ole pontiac.
i guess you can forget about sneaking up on someone in that.

That's kind of where I am at. I have some power goals in mind, and for the money, its kind of hard to beat a big block. I already have a built TH400, and a very nice BBC, and lots of LS1 parts that I could sell. I just need a rear-end and lots of suspension work.

o yea i really hope my jets back there just so happen to work good hahah if not you gotta pull carb.. with trim off its open and come right off.. nah she aint exactly a sleeper anymore
i have a front bowel leak so i havent quite got an acurate pressure reading.. the pump is a lot bigger than you think.. kinda hard to mount it under the floor. other than that seems to be good to me. a lil noisy but like i say its big
i only say smaller gear because its still got 26'' tall MTs hahaha on a 3 speed she might be singing past the 1000' ill atleast squeeze a 28'' under before swaping gears. id like to see some parachute mphs with it.
the way it sits i think its just gonna want to drag the bumper or blow the tires/

How much did you clearance? I was at one time hoping to keep my wipers. Some classes around here require them. I know it's not going to be very easy to do. Whose motor plates did you use?

I would trade in a sec if I could find a clean v6 bird. Better lines anyway, in my opinion. That's the other side of why I have been waiting to do something like this. Don't want to cut up a nice car.
