Default 10.2 deck BBC in a 4th gen?

Has anyone here tried a tall deck BBC in a late model camaro or firebird? Just wondering if there will be any room for headers here. Also, I was wondering if big chiefs on a short deck will work. Thanks

.

There are hundreds of them. Everyone I ever saw were custom chassis & headers.

Big chiefs fit fine on 9.8. I have a 582" with Profilers & tunnel ram. Most common is 565" or 582". Seen hundreds of those also.

9.8, 4.600, 4.375

You using the factory shock towers, I know a guy who put a 632 in 4th gen, but I don't remember if they used the stock shock towers, and I beleive they notched the bottem of the windshied, I know they took the wipers and all out of it.

Thats a 706 Fulton motor so it has a taller deck than 10.2. Plug access isnt bad at all.

Wow! Thanks for the pics MADMAN!!! More room than I thought. I'll be running a front mount dist and a single cast manifold. Low compression 598 - 622 haven't figured it out yet, with single 106 turbo. Also MADMAN, I assume you can precut me a motorplate?
