Just got new street tries on my C5Z last night.... (the tire shop stayed open late last night for me --Thanks GranTurismo East Tire)

I'll run for bragging rights this weekend... I've still got to change the knock sensor harness tonight I bought (got pinched under the intake when I chnged the sensor itself a few weeks back)

p.s. -I didn't buy the supercharger, the C5Zo6 should be traded (my buddy Jack at my old Corvette dealership job is searching now) on a C6Zo6.... so this will probably be the last (and first) time I really run the car.

In all seriousness, I tried to launch (just to check it out) last night.... theses Toyos they put on don't hook for squat... it was best when I just drove it off the line, and any more than 80% throttle through 1st gear would light 'em up.... maybe they need to break in a little.

Ill race both of yall in my stock lt1. 1/4 mile, yall have to stay in 1st gear the whole time.

2 out of 3 races cause im not good at driving.

I had nothing against you there Thacker, or whatever ther **** your name is, but after that last post, you just sunk yourself in the tool box. Yea, him backing out made him look like the *****, but if you would have just sat back and let everyone else say that instead of talking down other people for their opinions..you would look alot better.

i have a set of E/T streets that ill let you borrow.. they are on two 16 inch camaro rims.. dont know if that will fit a zo6 or not.. im in winchester TN.. if you guys will meet half way i will let you use them! (id like to see this race..) especially for a 100 bucks..

if that wont work, we have plenty of guys around here with slicks and/or radials mounted on draglites..

This is set in my mind, I have my knock sensor harness, I'm actually taking a beer break right now from installing it..... all my stuff squared away. Ready to run any time next weekend. (tires set, I need 1/2 hour once I get to the spot to mount the tires)
