I've got some guys here in Atlanta that will loan (private talks)
This is set in my mind, I have my knock sensor harness, I'm actually taking a beer break right now from installing it..... all my stuff squared away. Ready to run any time next weekend. (tires set, I need 1/2 hour once I get to the spot to mount the tires)
$750 CASH one run.... no problem.

Sorry I dont want there to be any bitching about it being close so we can go ahead and run out the 1/4. That way there will be NO MISTAKE who the winner is. Just eliminating bitching and street racing crybaby ****. Also you live in McDonagh thats hardly Atlanta quite playing. Also saying **** like you are gonna run into me on a bike with a car? WTF? Yeah thats real great stand up street racing **** alright. Grow up. If you cant do the race then dont. I can tell you right now you dont have a chance in hell. I know what my bike runs so im good.

I have my drag radials.... a buddy is loaning me.
I just got new street tires to replace my old drags, so now it's even with a borrowed set. (new BFG's on 11" ZR-1 rims.)
I should be able to launch pretty hard, I'm planning to practice a little during the day Saturday to find the best rpm.
I'm ready... I posted that it's on for this weekend...(when I can get away from work) I've pm'd him to get in touch at the beginning of the week, he hasn't called or responded.
When he checks in, he'll see that all he has to do is call me, to nail down the time.
I don't know what more I can do, he wanted one run, winner takes all.... deal.

He's giving me some tires to burn at the end of November. There's a drift event going on, I think it would be a lot of fun to get the 'Vette sideways for a while. I'm not into the whole drift thing... but man it sounds like fun!
They stayed late... but also, they were taking the built engine out of his 5.0 -Kieren said he thought a ring land had broken, plus he wanted to swap in a different cam.... They had that engine out in less than 3 hours!
