Im thinking of trying to trade my 85 Silvy for a stroker(Longblock) for my 06 Silvy. Not sure if anyone would want to do it but the truck is pretty bad to the bone. New 350 and 700R-4, 4wd with 3/4 ton axles, small cam(like an rv cam), power everything, a/c, 33" BFGoodrich Mud Terrains, 3" susp lift. Rides like a log truck haha, but hey what would you expect? Reliable and strong as well... um... a chevy!

Havent mentioned it to the wife, but would anyone be interested. Im would trade for a fresh 408ci+ with a 220+ cam and ported heads. No bs engine... sorry guys I cant give my truck away haha.

This aint your average beater guys. I had to pay my DAD $6700 just to get it. All new accessories, push button start(key req.), e-fans, new shocks, rebuilt f/r diffs... interior is in good shape. Straight body, only one spot on the r/f fender(crack in the paint, no dent).

Just tryin to get a feeler for people that might be interested.

I think that maybe you should post this on a ford forum, they tend to understand the hound dog, wife\sister beatin, beer can crushing, log truck lifestyle you seem to have going on.. post it over there I promise it will sell.. or at least get a good trade.. If I were you, I'd ditch the ugly '06 and stick with the badass '85... More money to be made out of the deal that way as well. The '85 is a nice truck, I'd opt to keep it if I were you.

 

Wow... your a dick. Sorry, but what makes you think I'd beat my wife? And whats wrong with the occasional sheep? I have never been in a log truck in my life, I dont have a hound dog, and you wish you were living the lifestyle I'm living.

Now you may not think its a good trade, but I have a lot of money invested in it. Its a nice 85(not an 89) pickup with a lot of good parts. Cleans up very good. Why would I want to sell my newer truck? I use it for work because it has more interior room. But hey If you dont like the sound of what I am offering keep your sheep and your battered wife... I dont want em, and stfu.

Anyone interested in trading an F body? Someone make a deal worth talkin to the wife about. Ill take 6k for the truck. No less. As far as a trade it would have to be anything but red, stockish with under 120k, and needs to run in top form with a good body and interior.

no i got the s-10 cuz it was built professionally not in a back yard, and being my dad said ur paying me 75% of ur paycheck till whatever u buy is payed off i decided a $5000 vehicle that ma need $2000 in upgrades would b better than me looseng most of my paychecks for a while on an $9000 vehicle, plus the insurance is way cheaper on the s-10. the truck sounds solid, the engine swap was done at a performance shop the guy new, and the guy that owned the truck also owned a paint and body shop and across the road from that he owned a sound system shop and interior. so the whole truck is dun in shops by pro's. im not even a big fan of the 8 diff. colors in 1 but its diff. so ima keep it.

 

One of these days you are going to break that leash and stand on your own feet. Find an oilfield job like me and move up in the world now while you are young. Dont wait for it. ****** take it! It takes some luck and some effort, but hey look at me. One day youll stop hatin on my $3500 a week and start makin it for yourself. Then you can have your own place and nice stuff... and a few toys haha. Just stay single.... it sucks when you have someone helping you spend it.
