Hey bro, I wont be able to make it tonight, I just got back in town and am gonna be tied up tonight with some unplanned stuff. Thanks for the offer on the helmet, I still wanna hit the track so maybe in a week or 2 I can make it.

I am still runnin the stock 10 bolt w/ 4.10 gears, and TA girdle band-aid. Plus some 243s, cam and bolt-ons. Let me know how you do tonight, best I have done was 12.8 BEFORE heads/cam. Catch ya later bro.

I'm planning to head up around 7:30 or so. I'll have the laptop and tuning cable with me if anybody needs an adjustment.

I ended up needing o2 sensors so I was not able to get me car tuned yet ,,but I ran it anyways.
It took awile for me to get use to launching with my new drag radials so I bogged on alot of passes and also shifting above 6000rpms was not doing any good i'm sure because of not being tuned.
I screwd up alot of passes to be honest ,,,i'm not used to how tight my transmission is since it was rebuilt,,,,and twice I went into nuetral from the jerk of launching

My best was 13.34 @105mph with a 2.0 60ft still bogging alittle launching at 4300rpms and shifting at 5700rpm.
Me best MPH was 106mph.

I went from a 13.8 stock to a 13.3 without being tuned so atleast I saw some results of the money I have spent

Cliff, put a lid on that motor and we'll get it right. You've basically built a large air pump trying to breathe through a pinched drinking straw by leaving the stock air lid on a heads/cam/intake motor.

Also, NGK sensors are the way to go. Lemme know when you're ready and I can hook you up.

Yah I thought about that. I just picked up a cheap set of ws6 rims from a cool guy in Douglasville, will prob mount some 285s on the rear.
Kinda lookin around right now. Those Nitto NT05s don't have much sidewall give so I probably would do alot of spinning anyways.
Thanks again on the clutch/Tick install, holding up great and the shifts are dead on.

No prob. Lemme know when you're ready for a real cam.

BTW, the 275 Nitto 555r's will be decent for track use. They aren't going to hold a hard launch, but they stick good enough so you can go WOT in 1st gear after leaving the hole.
