Default Fast Friday Sept17 Atlanta Dragway Test&Tune

Just seeing if anyone is going to Commerce this coming friday.

I will be there with my car to see what she will do after all the work i've done.

Hopefully some more of yall will show up to,,,back in 1999-2000-2001 Fast fridays at commerce would be covered up with 4th GEN F-bodies and C5's,,i'm talking atleast 20 4th GEN f-bodies would show up every friday almost ,,but now days seems like maybe only 5 or 6 4th gens and a few C5's are showing up at the track on Fast Fridays.

Oh well ether way I will be there with my wife and kids they like watching all the different cars going down the track.

Track has always been slicker than cat ****,,but it's only 25min from me.

If you know of a 1/4 mile track within 1hr outside of North Gwinnett County and I can get more than 4 passes for $20 please let me know.

Have you ever used a transbrake before??? They are awsome from the sound of the engine with the 2 step bouncing,,, to the instant launch.

Makes you want to have a transbrake in any automatic transmission you own.

Nope, never used one... but I don't have a 2-step either. I have a level 5 RPM 4l60e. Still my daily driver.

I have a M6 and use the MSD 8733 2 step.

For $215 I also recommend it for you ,,it's simple to install and can use your transbrake button to work the 2 step,, your 1/4 mile times will be more consistant.

I haven't ruled one out or anything, it's just a little further down the list since I don't get to the track as much as I'd like to.

I'll be up there offering my driving services to a few customers who can't seem to get out of the 13's with 450-500hp cars.

Past road atlanta, it's exit 149. quicker than 13.99? (who isn't) then yes they're strict about the helmet.
