Camaro South of Fayetteville, NC is putting on an event for the Wounded Warrior Project. As of now, there are already 122 confirmed on Camaro5 with many local clubs (not on Camaro 5) that have RSVP'd. We are looking to have a large event to support the Soldiers wounded while defending our nation.

Planned Events-
Friday (25 Mar 11)- Meet and Greet in Host Hotel Parking lot, organized cruise
Sarurday (26 Mar 11)- Drag strip, car show, vendors, Chevrolet Show Cars, more socializing!!....
Sunday (27 Mar 11)- Departing breakfast, Presenting money to Wounded Warriors.


Participant fee for the event at the track on 26 MAR is $40 dollars; Fee includes Lunch, Vendor Alley, Drag Strip, Car Show, and Event T-Shirt
Gate fee for Spectators is $10 dollars, Gate opens at 9AM.

For those traveling, the Host Hotel with blocked rooms is the Holiday Inn Bordeaux, 1707 Owen Drive, Fayetteville, N.C., 910-323-0111; event code is CFH, $83 a night. Rooms must be booked by 25 FEB to get the discounted rate.

Please RSVP and let us know that you will be attending all the great festivities. There will be all types of Camaro's from all over the east coast.

*Disclaimer* This is named a Camaro event, but ALL vehicles are welcome as there will be a car show with Top 50, best in show, best Ford – GM – Mopar – Other

Thanks for stepping up and supporting us Ron. Seeing the Regiment scroll on your profile I'm guessing the Wounded Warrior Project was a no brainer for you! I've got my fingers crossed that all the stars line up with the moon and I'm able to make it home in time.

@Kyles2000z- Not sure how far from Columbia you are, but since I've been deployed there has been a new Camaro South chapter set up in Columbia, SC. There's a possibility of big Camaro cruise from SC-Fayetteville for the event. Just saying, it's a possible added bonus. You can look them up on facebook if you or your friends are interested.

Anyone know of a mobile dyno that we may be able to get to come support the event? I have called 4 or so in NC and SC but all are booked.
