It's a damn shame everyone wants to compare their buddies full caged purpose built race cars to my lil ole street car that I still drive to work and wallmart and anywhere else I want to go lol. Hell my wife drove it to sonic a few months back. She was shifting it like a champ at woodward and avalon lol

anybody here go to i22 raceway over the weekend.first time i've been there,it was a real surprise how nice of a track it was, paved pit area,2 restroom and consession location and nice level track.there was over 100 cars and rails entered in a $10,000 race.the races were organized well, cars hooked on take off and alot of 5 and 6 second cars(one consistant 4.80 rail).big promod race in 2 weeks on the 7th.north alabama can close the doors as far as i'm concerned,i'll be going to i22.

if you spin on that track, you have some issues... we hit it a few weeks, I actually ran a little faster at Moulton though, a little wheel spin is healthy for a street car and I bogged down too much at I22 coming off the line, but its a deadly hooking track
I bet a lot of stuff gets broke up there, lol

Isn't Moulton short? I've been up there several times I thought everyone always told me it wasn't the full 660.
In unrelated news Lassiter Mountain has been leased by George Howard.
Friday June 29th, Lassiter will be having a FREE TEST N TUNE!!!
Gates will open at 6pm and run until about midnight.
George will also be giving away $100 to the fastest ET of the night by any street car and motorcycle.
Also, at the end of this month, Midnight Madness is coming to Lassiter Mountain!
Every Midnight Madness will be preceded by a Heads-Up race (Classes are still being worked out) so the track should be on KILL after all those big tire cars get a chance to go down each weekend.
It will only be a $10 admission to watch the Heads-Up races and/or participate in Midnight Madness.
Gates will open at 6pm and Midnight Madness will run until 1am.
It would be a bit of a driver for most in this topic but at least now you have another option.
