A sad day for me. :(
My Cockerspaniel of 13 years has to be put to sleep. I love this dog like a brother and I can't imagine life without him. I guess God said it is his time, even thou I prayed for minutes, hours, and days for him. I'm going to miss him Sooooooo much.. I wish I could have said my last good byes.. I guess as soon as I find a place to live that allows dogs, I will get another Cocker.

I used to have a brindle boxer named Tojo. He died peacefully in his sleep. He was my buddy. I'd take him everywhere and we'd even drink beer together. Budweiser seemed to be his favorite. I'd get him a nice steak for his birthday every year.I lost him in 1998 and I cried for three days over his death. You get way too attached to them and they seem to know just how to accomplish that. I can definitely sympathize with your loss . I never have replaced my boy because I don't want to go through that again. He gave me a lot of good memories and was the best dog I've ever seen. Hope things turn out ok for you.

Mike, I feel your pain bro. I had a Mountain Lion (yes this is for real) from the time I was 3 yrs to 18 yrs old. My dad was big into big cats back then, and bought him when he was 6 weeks old. He passed away on my 18th B-day...
Hang in there bro, it'll hurt for a minute.....

Sorry to hear about your loss Mike. Hang in there it will get better with time. I can't tell you how many dogs I've lost over the years. Currently have 3, a 5 year old Cocker Spaniel, 18 month old Rottweiler, and a 14 yr old Doberman. Its tough when you lose one, but they make great companions. Hang in there man.
