Default Suggestion for a header/catted y combo

I asked this question in the external engine sect but got like 2 repsnses. My next and nearest mod is headers and a catted y to complimnet my GMMG. I heard some QTPs with cats through GMMG and about jizzed in my pants. I know the ultimate setup would be kooks or qtp, but i dont wanna spend so much but i want a catted y that doesnt hang down to the ground. I have no clue what to do, Jet-Hot. pacesetter, hooker, or just fork out the money for koos or qtp??? ANY HELP IS GREAT. all input is welcomed.

I've got Hookers now and they are a PAIN to install but they do tuck nicely. They only have an offroad pipe available. The JetHot headers are a copy of the Hooker and I helped install a set 3 weeks ago... again a PAIN in the butt. The cats that came with the jet hots are a joke and the y-pipe is the worst I've ever see internally. I'm looking to sell my painted Hookers(no rust) with a y pipe that fit perfectly so I can buy some coated Pacesetters that will match with my totally polished engine bay.

I've helped install 3 jet hots and 2 sets of hookers...I thought they were all relatively easy installs. Maybe the Y pipe is the pita. If it were me, save your money and get kooks or qtp.

You have to remove the steering shaft, oil filter thingy(above oil filter) and other stuff. The Pacesetters slide right in.

You guys are pretty good then. I did the Hookers in my garage and the Jethots on a lift. They physically wouldn't go past the steering and oil thingy... oh well.

I'm sure you could give them a little persuasion , but who wants to scrape up nicely coated headers?

My pacesetters would fall out on the ground if you didn't hold them up in place..got the GF on the creeper to hold them up while I bolted them in..no problem getting them in at all..didn't have to remove or move anything..just stick em up in there and bolt em on..only thing that got scraped was my knuckel..

Flowmaster Y 1 x $45.00
Highflow Cats 2 x $120.00
Labor/Pipe $150.00?

I guess about $400-$450

Ditto...I've never had to remove any of that stuff. Just have to get the car high enough and play around with it.
