Woohoo! No school!
Well, school is officially cancelled in my county Monday and Tuesday to "save gas" and "help the economy". Woo hoo! But seriously, it won't help... at least not in the case of high schoolers.
I mean seriously, if you had a car and were in high school (like me) would you stay at home to better your economy? Or go out to the mall, movies, or lake with your friends and lady friends for the day? Come on now... its a farther drive to the lake than for me to drive to school all week.

No it won't help. ******** Perdue just made matters worse. There was NOT a shortage until this idiot made that announcement. Now everyone went into a panic and rushed to the pumps. Anyways, congrats on the little vacation bro

this it the email we got
Governor Sonny Perdue has requested all Georgia public K-12 schools consider taking "early snow days" on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 26 and 27, 2005.
Georgia Tech and the 34 institutions in the University System of Georgia will be OPEN.
The Governor also has issued an executive order that eliminates non- essential state travel and requires alternative work schedules or telecommuting for all state employees where possible. Employees already on travel should complete those plans. Any alternative work schedules are at the discretion of the department.
and dustin.. are you leaving your car downtown sunday night?
