Default 985 Park N Ride on Sat 10/1

Let's try and get a good amount of f-bodys out there! Maybe we can cruise up Satellite BLVD and scare off the ricers at BP on pleasent Hill! Anyone else going? we usually get there between 9:00pm and 9:30pm and stay til everyone leaves. If you need directions let me know! Lets get a good GM turnout!

People usually get to the Park-N-Ride between 9 and 930, so I know I cant go, but they sound alright on the myspace.

Being an X- semi pro rocker(bass player..... the REALLY old days), I'm always interested in new local talent... key word being talent. Like my tunes a bit harder/crunchier but sounds like they've been together for awhile and work well together. They do have a more 'refined' sound than most local acts I've heard.

Btw... your buddy's got a good kick foot.

May check'em out.....

yea, i play guitar and bass and have been in about 3 local bands around Buford. I liek the heavier stuff too... those guys resemble 12 Stones a lot.

they have been together for less than 6 months.. well sort of... that band has been around for years, but they just got back together-the only original member is the singer... some big rap producer wanted to make it big in rock.. so he took them under his wing and has been just having them play lil gigs and write tons of music and just get comfy.. in the previous incarnation, they opened for taproot and cold at downtown rocks a few years ago

I gotta ask : what is up with the ATL radio stations? I only found 2 stations and they were seriously lame. One was some alternative station using some dude's Ipod for the day's format and the other wasn't that great. 92.9 and 99.7 , I think were the station numbers . I was glad I brought a fair amount of Pantera and NIN cds with me. for the roads trip! I probably would have jetted over tonight and hung out with y'all but I gotta work Sunday night and a 5 hour drive before working 12 hours would suck .

ya.. atlanta radio sucks... 96 rock is a good one too... 99x is usually good, that ipod weekend was gay... but 99.7 is probably THE rock station for atlanta

We've got a station up here 102.9 the Buzz. Their slogan is "The Buzz Rocks!" . They are not kidding. They apparently threw away the sissy Coldplay and Gorillaz crap and play some pretty cool stuff now from Slipknot to Iron Maiden.

I wish we had a station like that. The closest that we have is "105.3 the buzz" which plays some cool stuff but tends to be a lil lame which is why I have a cd player and a ton of cd's.

105.3 is the closest thing to a good rock station here.

105.3 is pretty good. I keep it on that basically all the time when I'm not listening to a cd.
