yea, FOR HER!!!! She wants to put on the headers and all that stuff and learn so i said 'ok' plus, headers are like 175 for a v6 of course course they arent that price for the ls1, but the ls1 is a beauty of her own and she deserves to be spoiled

You can get sims for the rear o2 sensors. Hptuners supports the v6's now too.
CIA (Clear Image Automotive) makes coated mid-length headers for them. The earlier year cast iron manifolds were more restrictive. The later year tubular manifolds were better - probably _almost_ as good as the headers.
The fwd blower doesn't work (without major fab work anyway) because the belt drive is on the front and the tb is on the back, in a rwd configuration.
Rksport sells a powerdyne centrifugal kit though. Used ones show up on http://forum.camarov6.com/index.php fairly regularly. Look for the john_d power wrap over there for how they (we) resolved belt slippage with that setup.

I spent money on my v6 DD and have yet to regret it. Got to have an equally nice daily driver, even if it has a slower engine. With SLP Loudmouth and a decent head on your shoulders [appearance wise] most people won't even know the difference.
02 Sims will work.
If you can, shoot for a 2000+ so you get the tubular manifolds. As mentioned before they will give you the same gains and tone as shorties.
Check out fullthrottlev6.com or firebirdv6.com for some more info.
Just to back up my arguement. Here's a picture of my car. Is it a formula or a v6? The only way you can truly tell is if I told you. v6 FTW

wow i had a 99 V6 before my ls1 and it had the pacesetter headers, with magnaflow catback, the car sounded deeper than a stock ls1 at lower rpm's it was amazing, wish i could say the same when it got over 3k rpm though = fartcan
