Hit 10.81 once, but lost third gear on that run so I coasted through the 1/4 in neutral. That pass was like 117 or 118mph. The car is a full wieght car with nothing taken out except for the spare tire and jack. Plus the extra weight of the iron block doesnt help. The trans thats in it now slips in 3rd and 4th so Im not sure exactly what I could pull now with slicks. Waiting on this stock 4l60e to die so Ill have an excuse to pull it and replace with the 4l80e. Just cant get motivated.

I know how it is getting motivated. I got a 1990 454SS silverado that I'm dropping a new
454HO crate motor in this winter. With a th400, 3.73 14bolt locking rearend I think it'll
run pretty good. I'd like to see a low 13 out of it which wouldn't be bad for a street truck.

Never Mind Bought HP Tuners awesome program worth the money got my VE table set and MAF tuned in runs alot better now oh yeah if you go with a 3800 rpm stall expect to raise your rev limiter and lower your shift points a hair.

No its not the same vette i first looked at and yes i got the name cut, buffed, and polished out of it. The vette has Borla Stinger exhaust and a blackwing intake thats it. I like it especially like the targa top. I plan on keeping it a little while then Im going to sell it and get me a modded camaro or trans am. Here is a pic of the vette.

I'm still hangin' around, just been really busy at work. Seems like I haven't had time to
do what I've been wanting to. I think I'm going to hold off on putting the 454HO in my
truck. Think I'm going to wait and put a 454 built off GM's new LSX block. It'll cost a
little more but I should have it saved up by next summer.

I haven't decided what motor I'm going with for now. I got a couple of friends that would probably be interested in what I'm going to do, but like everyone else they'll have to wait and see. I've been watching Pinks lately and its making me want to get a loan from the bank to get my car back on the road. Bad thoughts bad thoughts. I'm trying to wait a little longer until my hubby gets his project eclipse out of the garage, yeah yeah i know its a import, but he wanted to try something new. Don't worry the SS isn't going anywhere but the driveway.
Vann I'll get with you as I get the money together probably next year sometime, so maybe by then your schedule will be more managable.
