Figured it was about time I popped in here and said hey from Huntsville. I've been lurking for a few months, and I finally picked up a 1999 Firebird Formula about a month ago (first f-body) after wanting a formula since I was about 3 years old.
thanks for the offer lemons is the huntsville race on the 30th durin daytime or night?.... i was reviewing dyno sheets on various cars with the mods i lookin at... i think i gonna need more.....i really would like to make this car a better street demon.... but at what point does it become a race car? where does the goodies like A/C and good driveablity end?

It totally depends on what you consider a "race car". Nobody can tell you what you consider a race car. Some people consider a car with a converter and a cam a "race car" and others don't consider a 408 stroker putting down 500+Rwhp NA without AC blah blah blah a "race car" as long as it has tags and stuff.
You can run 10s NA full weight if you want to put the money in it and putting time in the setup figuring out exactly what you need and don't need.
Like I said though, I would get a converter/tires/tune and go from there.. Your car will be a different animal!

Welcome, BTW.
Yeah I had a 50-50 chance of going the right way and I chose wrong LOL. I might try to put this slp pulley on tomorrow afternoon or Friday. I can't get the pulley and swap converters so I guess I will stick with the circle d for a while.
