O alright I didnt know you were ordering extensions. The kind Texas-Speed sends with their headers are a splice type...Plug-n-play will be fine...Holler if you need any help with the install.

so here is the run down:

LT LPP headers
LPP ORY
SLP lid
Seal-for-good Header gaskets
3-3" stainless band clamps
LS1 block off plate kit
TQ converter
sphon tq arm... already got it bought i think
Dyno tune
o2 extentions???

missin anything?

i gonna stick this in the general board too but i wanted to give you guys first heads up
Hopefully you ordered the "race style" headers without EGR.. Other wise you have some ugly un-needed **** sticking up..

You only need your front 02s, do NOT buy o2 extensions.. Save yourself some time/money/hassle and buy Corvette o2s now. They are better (quality), read better, and cleaner install. Extensions and splicing are **** ways.

You can re-use the stock header gaskets, I actually recommend that.

Get on Summit or Jegs (forget which one it is) and buy the 30$ manual cutout they sell. It is just a plain black one and comes with the plate/screws/bolts. Another option is a QTP electric that runs around 150$ or they sell some on Ebay but I have not heard very many good things from them.

1 concrete block under front and rear tires and 2 square boards, you will have PLENTY of space.

If you are in Huntsville I will come help if you pay for gas and buy me a cheap lunch. If we start around 8AM the headers will be done around lunch time.

275 shipped is a good deal on the LS6 intake. Depending on what exhaust you have will determine how much you will see from a cutout. Some people see 15hp some see 3hp.

and is it any easier to install headers on a car with the trans out? or easier to pull the trans without headers? cause if i do a converter at same time as header install i wondered which to do first

The trans has nothing to do with installing headers. Droping the trans you sometime have to take the y-pipe off but the headers do not. I have never done the converter install but the headers are nothing to install.

I've used Henson's dyno with a E in Hueytown. I think Hinson with an I is located in Lacey Springs. I didn't know he had his own dyno though. There are a couple of other dynos in the Huntsville area if he doesn't have one. Track Masters is the only one I can think of right off hand.

Ahhh, got ya.. Well just let me know..

I would get the intake..

Like ^^^ said, you might see 20Rwhp or you might see 3Rwhp.. Won't hurt either way for 30$.

Don't worry about where the dyno is, worry about where and when Gomer will meet you!

That's what I saw too. The part about cars go here made me think the actual shop was in Lacey Springs.
