ok man i didnt talk **** untill you started it.i didnt bad mouth the cobra i said he said it wasnt running right.that does not mean it aint fast and its a peice of ****.ill run the kennt bell cobra but no cash will be involved.i make it a point to not race for money.yea i said i would put money on joshs car and i will but side betting is far as it goes.ive been in bad situations with street racin for cash i aint gonna be again.
i tell you one thing your not gonna get no buisness when you talk **** to people cause aint nobody gonna wanna here it.about the fastest streetcar well i guess only time will tell.
now wheres this shop gonna be located?are you partnering up with crouch or nicky?

About the fastest street car, you're right... only time will tell. And when time does tell, I'll be the jackass standing there yelling "I TOLD YA SO"....LOL!
As for the shop...we're not partnering with anyone. Lots of people will be involved in one way or another, but most of that is still in the works.
If you want to run the KB car sometime, that's fine. No money, just bragging rights I guess. But just to be clear, any racing we do for money...If we lose, getting your money will not be an issue.

I have seen the car but I do not know him personally. I have only heard his name a few times. Correct me if I am wrong but is this the same Shannon that wrecked the mustangs?
As far as the 1k rwhp thing goes. After you get over 1k you begin to blurr the line between street car and race car. Does this mean that the car will be "capable" of making alot more than 1,000hp or does this mean that the car will ride around 100% of the time making alot more than 1000hp?

Yes, the 1k mark does sort of blurr the line between street car and race car. The car will be setup on a daily driven setup of about 900hp or so. But it will be capable of a TON more with just the simple flip of a switch and a little better grade of fuel. This is something your wife could drive to the grocery store. This is a proven setup, but nobody has tamed it down enough to make it as streetable as we are.

I'll be there. A good friend of mine, Brent Lovelace, owns/operates that dyno. He's partners in Maximum Dyno. Very nice guy and one hell of an artist. If the cobra is straight by then, I'll bring it. Otherwise it'll just be the coupe and the TA.

The is will be capable of making upwards of 1500 rwhp....probably very close to that 95% of the time...yes...
As far as street car goes....full interior, drag radials, stock "type" suspension....all the suspension is in the stock location's.....car has not been mini-tubbed, tag, titled, insured.....I would call that a street car....hell, it's a full bodied, full interior car...

And to show that we don't care about friendly competition, there will be a dyno in Extreme Auto across from Long Lewis in a matter of a couple weeks...

Yes, we'll most likely have days when you can just rent the dyno and bring your own tuner.
Also, we'll be offering remote tuning by some of the country's best tuners. We would dyno the car on our dyno and email the data logs to the tuner who would then modify the tune and send it back to us. This way you can get a custom dyno tune from someone several states away without leaving your home area.
Chris and I will both be doing some tuning as well, but like everyone else, we'll probably have our specialties...
