So I just put my cam in and I'm looking for a tuner. I've heard a lot of good things from people about Lane, but recently someone told me they hear a lot of bad things, and no good things... I was wondering if you guys have had any experience with him... Or could recommend a good tuner in the area?

Walker Dynotune in Trussville doesn't actually tune anything expect AFCs. You would have to have Gomer or someone else do the tuning while Blake runs the dyno. Since you are in HSV Lane is an easier choice. Gomer tunes up there sometimes as well. You are going to hear everything about everybody. If it wasn't someone's personal experience I wouldn't give it any attention.

The guy in the car was Blake Walker the owner operator. The guy with the laptop is someone else who doesn't actually work there. Gomer usually tunes the LS vehicles and lives in Albertville which is close to Boaz. If someone calls Blake wanting a tune for a LS vehicle, Blake will most likely call Gomer even though he isn't employed there.

No, I'm waiting on mufflers and tips. Dealer has had the car for 8 days now, fixing the sunroof and an O2 sensor.

What exactly do you need: help installing or does it need to be rebuilt again?

If you're in need of a rebuild then Millbrook Transmission Repair took care of me once. There's not too many places that rebuild manuals trannys any more.

From what I recall, it depends on the manufacturer. Everyone makes them differently. Some fit just fine. Some need motor mounts lifted. Some may need the steering knuckle removed. For my hookers, we had to move the dipstick, I think.

Look up installs of the brand of header you bought. I think pacesetters were the cheapest ones to go right in.
