I was just getting ready to post and see if anyone was heading to the track this weekend. Me and a couple of my buddies are heading up there Friday. I will look for your car. If you see a black TBSS that is usually me. Not very many of the local TBSS come to the track very often.

Just like Skillet said, usually on Fridays they won't put a lot of effort into the track because they know all of the local kids will be up there in their 4X4 and their mom's Altima.

They'll prep it in the beginning and maybe drag it a time or two for a big tire car if they are there. Friday's are usually for spectating. There will be all manor of ricer, hoopie, 4X4, and prosti-tots there.

The weather is looking to be phenomenal though!

Weather says a high of 70 and a low of 46. It's a good time to ride out. I guess it's a good thing that the tbss is too heavy and doesn't make enough power to spin on rubber. Vht or not. Lol!!!

I'm not planning on going tonight. Nothing to run, can only spectate so much. There is a jet car there already that will probably make a pass at some point tonight.

It was mostly the prep. All of me and my buddies were in the 2.2-2.6 range through the 60. Albeit we were all on street tires that is still WAY out of the norm. Atleast I do know the 'ol work truck picked up a good bit with the mods. It doesn't like traction street or track. Lol!!

Anybody from here? I thought it might have been a headgasket. I remember how much smoke my Regal poured when I popped one. Announcer said the bottom end let go. Oil everywhere. Ended the night.
