They are a pain to work on, true but they are worth it I think. We have both so the differences and all are very apparent on what engine is easier to work on. My hubby hates working on my LT1, loves his LS1 though. Oh well maybe one day I'll find another Hugger SS to buy from somewhere. HEHE

im not sure what to think. ive drove it couple of days now. this cam just doesnt have the lope the other one did and it just doesnt have quite the kick in the pants the other one had.
i thought about putting the other cam back in...maybe i just need to go to a different dyno and get someone else to try tuning it. im not sure what to do right now.

nice t/a you got. you could fix that one up and sell it for more mod $$.

Well not to be mean but 1st mistake you made was installing the cam knowing it was the wrong one. I would have made TSP pay the overnight shipping back, and make then next day air you another one. I very seriously doubt you can do that now becuse you went ahead and installed it anyways.. I guess it wouldnt hurt to go ahead and see what they will do beings they did screw you up afterall...

Ya thats probably what ill do but ill end up buying another LT1 to fix and sale. Gotta keep them out of the junk yards.

I would get TSP to send you the right cam. Vann was right man you should've left that cam in the box, and got TSP to send you the right cam.

Ya the guy i bought it from must have hit something like a branch or something and it broke the bottom of the pass. side fender and the front of the ground effect. The hood is kinda crinkled right at the hinge so i just want a new one. The passenger side tail light has a hole in it, and the paint isn't that great but my dads a painter so thats not a big deal.

Also a battery blew up in it to and blew acid all over the pass. fender and headlight and the acid like ate through the paint and everything. I think i can get all the parts and have the whole car painted for under a grand. After all that i know i can get a good amount of money for it. The interior is great except for the front 2 leather seats they are cracked and stuff.

Yeah, looks like mine did, but I had the ceta mod. Josh and I sprayed mine in his driveway and it took maybe 30 minutes LOL.

I think I've decided to sell those longtubes I bought. I was planning on buying some ceramic coated headers later on and swapping them in, but I'm probably just going to have the Borla put on and be happy. If I scratched a fender or something on this new paintjob trying to put those headers on knowing I was going to buy a new set later on, I would go crazy. I AM going to have that flat spot in the factory y-pipe cut out and replaced though.

Anyone need some longtubes?
