Congrats to Jonathan @ Tick Performance!
...Whose 99 T/A was selected for GMHTP's LTX vs LSX Shootout on October 30th in at Englishtown. The event is for 9 to mid 10 second cars only, so it should definitely be a show to see!!

I know this is an old post. But Congrats to Jonathan.
I've met him a couple times at the strip and he probably has no idea who I am, but he's a SUPER nice guy and I wish him all the luck. He even offered me his ET streets one day when I was having trouble hooking. Awesome!
He's been the talk of Statesville since he got the 434 setup now....

The first time I met you I only had a stall/exhaust and was running bottom 8's on Nitto's. Then the next time I met you I had a bolt-on car with a small shot and was going mid 7's on Nitto's. Now the car is a good bit different.... Just can't seem to get everything working right at the same time.
Thanks for the offer on the tires, again. I just got some MT ET Drags not long ago and absolutely love them.
I just picked up my TNT kit so Im actually expecting to go some 6.7x's or so now. I heard that's about what you were running on a similar setup/power output before you killed the bottem end. The car now has the TH400 setup in it, it's no longer a proshifted setup.

Yeah, now I remember! It sounds like you've done a lot to the car in a short period of time. My car made about 550rwhp and went 6.6's on a 150 shot after I went to the th350. The auto/stall killed the dyno numbers, but I picked up a couple of tenths at the track. Then the 200 shot killed it. The #1 rod bearing spun, which I believe caused the rod to then snap. With a lower mileage engine, the 200 shot may have lasted a while. I never even got a clean pass with the 200.

What size stall did you go with? Mines a 4200 and it's a nonlockup Feels like I'm losing power up top with it. It trapped 92mph when it was a manual/cam only/nitrous tune, on motor, and that was with me avoiding the water box to help save my 10 bolt. But last time out it only trapped 86mph or so, on the same crappy nitrous tune from More Perf.... and went high 7's. But the car was having major issues at the time.
I'm figuring mid 7's on motor and then mid 6's on a 150hp shot, like you said about yours. I was actually gonna go with a 200 shot as well, but I might just stick to the 150 now.
The guy that just recently tuned the car, well put a decent tune on the car to where I could drive it....that's how bad my More tune was, told me that he couldn't believe the car even started up...much less ran 7's. So that's a good thing.

Nice. Sorry, I just got the message. I work 24/7 so it's difficult for me to make it out to the track. Who are you again? I know one guy with a black Z28...not sure if it's you or not.
I just traded for a TNT kit and I still need a fuel system plus another nitrous tune....so it'll be a while before I can make it back out....mainly because of time restraints. Sucks...
