Im needing the tools to do this. Im not asking for opinions on why this should not be done, etc.etc.etc.....So if you have the tools I would appreciate the use of them. If you dont have them or know someone who does and can't help me out, keep your thoughs and comments about doing this to yourself.

Don't do it.

High lift is worthless on stock heads and you need to re-balance the rotating assembly anyways once you remove weight anywhere.

Pay the machine shop to do it.

Sorry DJ, I would NEVER flycut myself, I had to save a friend from peril. At least I said it-I can sleep better at night. ~Joshua

Contact Mike @ Vengeance Racing & Development he has a tool for doing this. At least last spring he did ... he showed it to me one day while I was at the shop.

Just an e-mail from work

Wouldn't it be pretty amazing, if this caught on, all over the country...?

"GOOD MORNING, WELCOME TO THE UNITED STATES"

"Press "1" if you speak English." "Press '2' to disconnect until you can.

I'll vote for the law or contribute to the fund that gets that put into effect...

if you haven't bought the cam.. go for a smaller duration big lift cam... then you won't have to fly cut.. for example.. the patrick g cam

Him fly cutting the pistons has nothing to do with his cam size. His cam is fine. The heads he's wanting to get for the car are milled and would have to fly cut the pistons to work with his cam.

Also here is another saying from the AJC

”I have to pass a urine test to stay employed. So it’s only fair that people collecting welfare should have to pass a similar test to collect.”

F*CK all you on welfare you lazy bastards

Also me and my girlfreind were at a restraunt and one of the waitresses was telling another one that she was going to have to cut back on her hours at work otherwise there not gonna give her her welfare check. You can all guess what type of person this was

ls-who....thanks for the offer but I have a friend that can do it w/ them out of the car as well. I am not wanting to tear the engine apart for this. I am not planning on having the rotating assembly ballanced after doing this. I drive the car maybe 3k a year and ballancing increases bearing life. Im not worried about that due to the low miles of the engine, and the fact that it will be replaced with a 4xx cid LSX in the future.

no.. the size of the cam does have everything to do with it. If the cam didn't have as much duration, I am willing to bet you could run the cam without flycutting.... you can run about .650 lift if the cam is straight up on about 224 duration. fwiw I run .040 milled 5.3's and an f14 with flycut pistons... if you hang the valves open for longer, they will interfere... it has nothing to do with the lift or even the height of the head. you can run a **** ton of lift with little duration because the valves are open all the way at the bottom of the bore(if installed up right and not advanced)... personally if I did it again.. I would rather intall another cam then go through the pain of flycutting... its probably cheaper in the long run

and I don't seem to understand all the **** you posted beneath that.. but whatev

Yep, Same cam and gonna have head work to go with my 90/90 set-up. The heads will be milled pretty good so there will be clearance issues.
