Who is on the Base/local area here..
I am just throwing this out here..who is on the Base, and in the local area like Jacksonville, Sherwood, Cabot..etc..
I am just wonderin cause I met up with a couple of people on here and they are pretty cool, so I think that we should all meet up somewhere like Chilis or something, and figure out who is who, then maybe set something up like a meeting every now and then to hang out.
There was a red newer Camaro SS behind me a couple of weeks ago coming through the gate on Base, chime in if you see this, one of the guys told me you are on here. I was in the red LT1 Camaro with the black Panel on the back getting gas at the Shoppette.

This is off topic but just curious what branch of the military you are in? I was a firefighter at Tyndall AFB in Panama City Beach, FL. so I just thought I would say hello to a fellow firefighter.

We are fine we didn't get hurt. but the car is gone to much damage to fix it. I hydroplaned and git the center median with the front right fender/tire and the rear right fender/tire the rear tire broke off the axle and the back end shifted about two inches to the left. but F-it at least we were OK. it's just money.
and yes i had just replaced the LS1 with a LS6 a few months ago but o well it wasn't ment to be. time to get my other car going so i'll be around.

Sorry to hear about your Car, but atleast you guys are alright. What are you doing with the parts, or the Insurance company already have it?

Actually, there are quite a few guys from base and local guys that were meeting up at Furniture Row on the weekends. It's just been too damn cold lately. We met a couple times and had some good turnout. Went for a cruise one night. So we'll keep getting together once it warms up. Actually, a few of us have been saying we need to meet up one night soon. Maybe this weekend will be warm enough?

I'm down for something this weekend. what about during the day possibly at some park just a suggestion!!
Yes the insurance has the car already. I took the money and paid off my bank and had $450 left over. I was not able to find another car in decent shape around here so we ended up buying a 04 2500 silverado 4 door. and yes already put some flowmasters and cold air intake.
