Just throwing this out there, but the former owner of 454 Dyno off of Airline closed up shop. He has reopened as L&L Performance in Covington, La. Hopefully in a few weeks they are going to try and hold and open house. He has one bad *** shop. Several lifts, Mustang Dyno, Chassi fab shop in the rear (when i got the tour they where in the process of working on a 68-69 camaro, doing a back half and full cage).
I'll keep you guys posted with more dates and any events that come up.

Ok, so every one coming north through Shreveport on I-49 should meet up in the Home Depot parking lot off I-49 at Bert Kouns what day & at what time. From there we will be heading to Texarkana. Hell , there might be a whole caravan of F-Bodies & Corvette's heading towards the mountains that week

Yea, the events coordinator need to take the lead, make a new post with all the specifics, and anyone planning to go needs to speak up, and set up meeting points along the treck to Texarkana, for people to join the convoy.

I think everyone wants a time and date to get ready for it?I won't get off work until 3:00 p.m. next saturday so i can't promise i'll make it for the cruise. Some of the Texarkana guys will probably like to come if we can get something set in stone.
If we had enough time we could have done a small cruise to the Hot Rod Power Tour in little rock tomorrow and meet up with the little rock crew. Didn't you say that some of the HRPT guys were heading out that saturday back through mena?

We are headed for the mountains Saturday the 16th. Those coming north on I-49 meet up at Home Depot parking lot at 10:00 A.M. sharp. Pull out at 10:30 A.M. sharp heading to Texarkana. Meet up at 12:00 noon at the foot of the 245 loop over I-30 at the Road Runner station in Texarkana. Leave at 12:30 P.M. sharp heading straight for the mountains & scenic parkway drive across Talimena to Broken Bow & Beavers Bend State Park. Can't wait. Change the oil, tune her up, fill the cooler with beer & sandwiches & whatever. Bring film or digital & a map.
