Looking for a tuner in the south Shop or independent are both fine, just need fair prices and I will drive any distance to meet. One stipulation is I might have to send you my old file to get a base tune setup so that I can fire the car up to get it moved up on the trailer etc.
Post up who's good in the area. Don't really wanna drive more than 8-10 hours.

Hey man good to see someone so close to me with the same problem. I just got my car back together except for bleeding the clutch and getting my fuel pump back in. I got a Texas Speed 408 and I am probably going to end up taking it to the Charlotte area. I was thinking about going to Speed Engineering on this side of Chattanooga and let Jim Nance tune it but had a few second thoughts after reading what a few guys said about him on this site. I am about 45 minutes from Kingsport around Watauga Lake. Let me know if you find someone because Im looking too.

There's a local guy above knoxville that does really good work but he is pretty backed up and hard to get ahold of. I'm either thinking of CAM or Alvin at PCMforless in one of the carolinas.

there's a guy here in central AR, independant guy. tuned my car and about 10 others that I know of. Very knowledgeable about ls1's, He knows his ****. shoot him a pm, it's Rhino79.

there is a guy here in ga and he is real good guy and knows his ****. heres his name and number roy 770 633 2506 for a dyno tune and everything he told me $600

.. I know he mostly messes with LSX's.. Give Gomer a call, he does LT1 and LS1 stuff. He is always at Walker dynotune on sat. usually tuning something.

Gomer did the tune on my car and did a real good job on it. I don't know if he tunes LT1's or not but if you want his e-mail addy shoot me a p.m. and I will give it to ya.

You could try them, but I would recomend Mayhem Motorsports (the original tuner from RPM). Jeff knows his ****, and is the only one I let work or tune on my toys. He does LT1 and LSx. here's their site: www-mayhemmotorsports-net
