Talking The Tuning School (HPT) in Memphis May 24-25th!!!

Hey guys,

We are happy to announce that we will be having a beginners Tuning School live seminar class (based on HP TUNERS and LSx engines) in Memphis on May 24th and 25th!

In Cooperation with www.spectaclesolutions.com

Not only will we be doing a full day in class of FULLY INTERACTIVE tuning training, but also a day at their Dyno tuning on a students car! (The class will be tuning, not just the instructors!)

We need to make it to 15 students to make the 2-day course to happen. So we need to get a list going here of people who would like to go.

What do you get by going? More than we can type... HP Tuners specific teaching and LSx Specific as well! You also get the full courseware (200 page full color workbook), the Tuning Tree (Table locations map), The tuning checklists (bolton/HC/SC), a complete CDROM with videos and live class demos as well. Also 1 year of Tuning support is included (Phone, email, private forum, etc...) <-- Priceless!

More details about the live seminar class can be found on this PDF: http://www.thetuningschool.com/dallas_details.pdf (We are making a Memphis PDF shortly)

I suspect we could get at least 15 people from this forum, and probably another 5 from various other local forums you guys may know. The class size is limited to 20 total students. So If you would like to attend, please post up and say the magic words, "I'm in".

How do I sign up? Email us, PM, call 727-494-0693, or just sign up directly at http://www.thetuningschool.com/products_c.html

What's the cost? $764 for early registration, then it goes to $850.

UPDATE! Out of 20 total seats:
As of 4/13/08, there are 18 seats left.

Students have left feedback from our Tampa Class in this thread, so if you are wondering if you should... Read this!
http://www.ls1gto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=226212

Pictures of the Tampa event are here as well:

See you there, and tell a friend!! You will need your laptop and if you do not have HP Tuners software, we can provide demo software for you to use at the event.

Bob

I hope to see several of you guys at my shop in May. Our dyno rental is the cheapest around (100.00 an hour)

So once you learn how to do this yourself, you will be saving major bucks and will even be able to make some money helping your friends tune their cars.

I'm interested but I'm "comptarded" and cant even tune the short bus. Is there hope for me in your classes or should I just stick to paying out the wazoo for tuning?

I have read through the study at home stuff, and seen the video of the class. Im convinced anyone can learn to tune using this course.

If you understand the inner workings of an engine, and understand how timing and fuel affect one, you can learn to tune.

lol.. Food, conference room, tuning knowledge, and a full year of support is too expensive. Good stuff!

x 2 there. I would be all over this if it were around $300-400. $700+ is a little harder to swallow.

I'd recommend you take the learn @ home course, which is $450.

There is simply no way to do a 2 day live seminar for less than we listed it for. The hotel conference room costs, airfare, materials, instructor time, 1 year of tuning support via email, phone and private forum, etc... Is just too expensive to make it cheaper.

Thanks,
Bob

It is a good price BOB. I've set stuff up like this before and it's not cheap. He still has to make a profit also. This isnt charity...!

Do you get all the materials with the Home course that you would at the seminar? Workbook, Tuning(tables) tree, checklists and dvd?

Yes, you get everything you would at the live class.

The only material difference is in the seminar we add a few files to the CD-ROM so you can follow along with the instructors as we teach. They are not needed for the learn @ home version.

Thanks,
Bob

Ya wish I could afford it bc I would love to learn how to do all this type stuff.. Didn't think it would cost that much though. Come on to Alabama i'm sure I can get the hook-up on a nice sized conference room where I work at. Not kidding either .
