so i was out cruising around with the wife and kid today and i'm on my way home cruising down buena vista and there's this black GTO sitting at a red light....the lane next to him was open so i pull up next to him....his exhaust was mean sounding and it was loping pretty good....sounded like it was cammed but i'm not so sure.....now normally i wouldn't race anybody with my kid in the car (in fact i don't like racing while anyone is in the car with me) but when the light turned green he jumped so i jumped too and started pulling on him until we had to shut down for the next stop light....now grant it it was a very, very short race and if he was indeed cammed he would have probably taken me at the top but i am proud of my car for pulling like it did on him. when we get to the next light this guy is mean mugging me but i give him a nod anyways and he nods back then he turns and i kept going....my wife was loving it...the kid...well, he slept through the whole thing...lol....just thought i'd share....

On another side the owner of the building that i was suppose to get said no to the dyno, so I have a dyno just sitting in Texas in storage..... But on another note im ready for summer builds by app only.

 

That was Barns, he just got here from TX, and it is a cammed LS1 GTO, he is a good guy to talk to. He works in the same area that I do.

Well, I will probably start on the front tonight. That way I will be able to tell what I will need to replace if anything. Need to get a 4" clamp ordered as well to finish up this exhaust.

Yea, I got enough clamps but don't care for the one that joins the intermediate pipe to the over the axle pipe. Got the the front struts off, upper mounts look fine along with all the other bushings. Craig, what are you doing friday? Karl, build sheet has been sent.

Fender roller is here. I might want to drive up to atlanta to get those clamps instaed of pay shipping on them. Need to find somewhere that does nitrogen and get that put in those new tires for the truck.
