Sorry Ron, but Mike if you are planning on buying some drag trim at least buy 15x10's not 15x8's and more importantly until you get another car keep your ZR1's for a fall back plan. I would never drive around town with my drag trim unless I was headed to the track or racing someone for some paper. Just food for thought.

Craig made a valid point though...why would you waste your money on 15x8's for a drag trim? especially if you don't plan to DD it. the widest tire you can go on a 15x8 would be a 275...and if you do some research you will find that a lot of guys don't have any luck hooking with a 275 on a 8" rim....get a 10" rim and go with some 295's atleast....that's what i plan to do....

Hold up, wait! You mean to tell me that dudes on this forum can put 17x11 rims with 315's on the back without having to use a hammer so they don't rub and your concerned about 295's mounted on a set 15x10 rims rubbing. As long as you buy them with 7.5 offset you'll be good to go. Cmon Mike do your homework homie. Go to the Drag forum and do a search.

FYI, for best performance you need to buy ET Streets, Hoosiers QTP's, or a full slick because you have a M6 and the soft sidewalls will soak up the initial shock to the drivetran / tires. Majority of the cars with auto's run the drag radials to the likes of Nitto's and ET Drag radials because of the hard sidewalls, which allows for higher trap speeds and because the trans is already in gear placing a load on the drivetran it reduces the initial shock to the tires and drivetran. That is one of the main reasons why a stock rear ends last a little longer behind an auto. I hope this helps in making your decision. But whatever makes you happy go with it because it's your money!!

lol i get **** all the time at work but its mainly because, this is the last season im putting money into my car. so i figured id put it away giving me more money to mod it instead of buying stupid **** and wasting money on gas because on post i fill up twice a week atleast. trust me i dont want to put it up but its got some big plans that need fundings so might as well knock them out as soon as possible.
