No im not gonna check valve clearance, im not torqueing or degreeing anything down, im not following torque sequence, im reusing all my gaskets. Just so everyone can rest easy at night

PTV on a generic Comp XE-R 228/230 will be fine on a stock untouched LS2. It'll have miles of room.

Rockers need to be TQ'd on the base circle of the cam, after pushrod length is checked/verified.

Every LMR cam I've ever installed was an XE-R camshaft, as they cam with cam cards.

Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. XE-R lobes are actually a damn good lobe, I just believe that a larger (than 2 degree) split will yield better results.

it hasn't turned around. And we go to the car show by steve the first satuday of the month. Great crowd most of them are older and really laid back. I wouldn't mind going to newnan though there is a great gun store I want to check out. We still need to round everyone up for an Atlanta shake down.

Anybody have a trailer with a winch? Just got a 86 Iroc thats been sitting for a little over a year. The guy got the car with no motor so he put one in out of a 86 GMC truck and went to a carb instead of the TPI that the car came with. Has headers but no exhaust, It runs if you pour gas in the carb. The gas in the car is brown. So i need to get it to my house. I will pay for your help. Only have to go about 5 miles.
