Black Ss Stolen In Baton Rouge,la Posting this at the request of someone I know from another forum...His 2002 black SS was stolen from his apartment complex last night in Baton Rouge...

Recovered!!! The Sheriff's Office is out fingerprinting the car now. It was found in a different part of the apartment complex. I'll let Joe update with the rest. He's got to be super LUCKY!

No, he had a kill switch on the car. They got only as far as the fuel left in the lines would allow them to go. They ended up in the very back of the apartment complex.

A guy came to my work the other day with a camaro ss and said that someone was tryed to brake into his car. Then last night my boy called and said that someone got into his car and broke his steering column and stuff. Sad

UPDATE!
Talked to the service manager this morning. They got the car running. No wires were cut, so they dont have to replace any wiring. All the people did was unplug ****. BUT they have to replace my whole dash. When they ripped the panel out from under the column, it ripped the mounting tabs out. So a new panel cant be put back in. They are ordering a new dash for it today and column cause the locking mechanism in the column was cut out. Then after those things are replaced, they will send it in for the body work.
The service manager said the insurance appraiser was trying to get them to JB weld up the mounting spots and drill new holes. The service manager told him NO, Im not doing that to this car. If we are gonna fix it, we are gonna fix it right. Thank god for a cool service manager.
So it looks like Im not gonna have my car back anytime soon it looks like.
