Hey all. The wife and I got orders to Guam. We gotta be there by March 2009. So i'm gonna have to sell my Z28.
$10,000 O.B.O.
1998 Camaro Z28 M6 "Stripper"
Black on Black
41500 original miles on it
2nd Owner, I've put 10k miles on it since i've owned it in 2 1/2 years
The first owner had it detailed every six months
Only made 5 runs on it when it was bone stock
Ran an 11.69 in the 1000ft

I'm not going to lie Rob. It should sell for $8K. Why?

1. Its a 98. Ten year old car
2. Its a Z28 not an SS, enough said
3. Its a stripper car, although alot of people would like to have a stripper model for a racecar but they wouldn't pay your car for $10K. Just my .02.

These are the reasons why I decided to keep my car because I know I'm going to get hosed if I try to sell it.

Yup.. the re-sale value isn't the greatest. That's why I tinker with mine all the time and do all kinds of stuff to it, I'm not hurting the value of it, it's not worth a **** as it is. It's paid for, and it's a fun toy.

Eventually I'll swap everything into a nice clean Hard-top LT1-style car..hopefully I find one with a Blown Engine and a clean body, V6 or V8..it doesn't matter.
