(Atlanta) September Car Shows and Events at Buyavette!
Alright guys, we've got two dates coming up in September:
Our first event is to be held Saturday, September 6th from 10am-3pm. This is our main car show, sponsored by The Last Detail and of course BuyavetteŽ. $10 gets your car entered in the show (proceeds go to Toys for Tots). Although this is a Corvette-specific show, we still welcome spectators, and it would be cool to have a nice F-Body/LSx turnout -- I'll have my WS6 here, and I'm sure Steve will be here with the ol' 2000 Z. With a little luck, Jack's 10th Anniversary Firehawk project will be sitting in back as well. We're also going to have a DJ, as well as food, and awards for the Top 20 cars as voted by spectators and participants. We're also running a special the week of the show, $500 off selected Corvette inventory.
Call The Last Detail at (770)414-0077 for more information on this car show.
The second event is scheduled for Friday, September 12th at 7:30pm. This seminar will focus on modifying late-model Vettes. We are pleased to have guest speaker Alan Colvin, editor of Corvette Fever magazine. Mr. Colvin is also known for his 4 book series "Chevrolet By the Numbers". Also, you may have seen his project cars, C4orce and C5x in Corvette Fever. Don't miss this chance to meet and speak with one of the most-respected authorities in the field! This is also a great opportunity to bring your stock or modified LSx/LTx out for some parking lot talk with other enthusiasts.
For more info about our September 12th seminar, contact john@buyavette.net. Hope to see everyone there!

The car show should rock out, plus the week after there's a seminar with none other than the editor of Corvette Fever Magazine giving all sorts of tips for vintage car repair/restoration/inpection...
If you guys don't know about the place, here's a link to a thread with tons of pics about a year ago....
of course the inventory almost completely changes every few months...

The guys at Buyavette rock!! I was in Atlanta last month with my family for the weekend, and we just were driving by and just had to stop and check out their inventory. I think it was John who hooked me and my wife up with a test drive in an all original '62. It's possible that some day I'll settle down and buy a cruiser like that, but for now I'll keep pursuing more HP. Hope to see you guys on Sept. 12.
